We have loved our three night stay in this cottage. It was extremely cosy and perfect for a pre Christmas family break in the countryside. We loved the location and the facilities were everything we needed , catering for the youngest and oldest of our group. Really nice finishing touches, for example the hot water bottles in each of the rooms. Communication with the host was excellent and Caroline was very quick to reply and reassured us appropriately at the back end of Storm Arwen! We would definitely return! Thank you!

Log fire was excellent, we found a perfect dog walk (5 miles from doorstep to doorstep) and generally quiet, easy to get to location!

This cottage is fantastic. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and more, and all of the amenities are of a very high standard.
The location is brilliant with beautiful walks from the doorstep, fantastic food from The Punchbowl Pub (5mins walk) and short scenic drives from larger villages and towns.
We hope to return here again!
Myself and three friends spent two nights at Richard’s property. We were delighted with our experience from start to finish. Communication with Richard was very good ahead of our arrival, with check-in being completed without any problems. The property itself is immaculately kept and very well appointed. Although we actually dined out on both days, the kitchen is more than capable of a large scale cook off if required! We drove to the nearby CB Inn for dinner on the first night, which was an excellent choice. And The Punchbowl (five minute walk) was equally delicious on the second night.
We found the property to be perfect for our walking weekend and will most definitely be trying to get another booking there for our next trip.
Perfection. Just perfection. The photos don’t do the cottage justice. It was just the most perfect weekend getaway for our family. Well-equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean everything. Wonderful local insights and tips. Great communication from hosts— who we met and are LOVELY. Exceptional shower. Views abound. Coziness. Walking distance to a pub. Everything you want! We cannot wait to go back.
A really beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The renovation that has been done on this place is really impressive!! We had a great stay with the whole family. There is great sized living space for 6 adults and 2 young children! We couldn’t have wished for more!! We would definitely book again!
This is a beautiful cottage in a great location. The children loved going to look at the sheep every morning behind the house. The property has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard. Caroline and Richard were incredibly helpful with our questions prior to our arrival. The guest information folder in the property has lots of suggestions on things to do, walks and places to eat. We had Sunday dinner at the Punch Bowl which was great, you do need to book in advance though.
The photos don't do it justice; it's a lovely place, spacious but also warm and cosy. The downstairs living area is perfect for socialising as a group, the kitchen is modern and very well equipped, and Richard and Caroline were kind enough to leave us plenty of amenities (bread, teas, crisps, biscuits, coffees, etc.) for our arrival.
The beds are comfy, the bathrooms nice and modern with great showers. The surrounding area is great for walks and pubs.
Caroline and Richard were great hosts - check in was a breeze and were easily reachable if needed.
We'd recommend staying here in a heart beat!
